National Freelancers Day 2020 is going virtual
National Freelancers Day is IPSE’s biggest event of the year. This year, it was due to take place on 18 June at Kings Place, London. However, because of the Coronavirus situation and the lockdown measures in place across the UK, we have decided to move the event online.
We know the Coronavirus crisis has particularly affected freelancers and the self-employed, undermining incomes and generally creating uncertainty. There has never been more need for freelancers to connect and get expert advice on finances, wellbeing and more. Our virtual NFD will do just that: with presentations, workshops, panel debates, virtual networking and question and answer sessions with expert speakers.
Virtual NFD will run on the same date, Thursday 18 June. To allow for as much flexibility as possible, we will record all our sessions so you can dip in and out of them and watch them back later at your convenience.
The day will cover four key themes: Wellbeing, Winning Work, Finance, and Taking Charge. We will also be updating all the sessions with new information and guidance in light of the Coronavirus crisis. We will have more information to send you about the updated sessions soon.
IPSE members will be able to access all the content from Virtual NFD for just £10 (inc. VAT). Please contact a member of the events team to obtain your discount code by emailing events@IPSE.co.uk.
For non-members, there is an early-bird offer of £25 (inc. VAT) until 5 May 2020. After this date it will be £30 (inc. VAT). Registration will open soon.
